Participation of the Egyptian Russian University in the International Competition for Scientific and Engineering Innovations (ISEIC'2023) at the Air Defense College in Alexandria\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Within the framework of the university\u2019s support for talented students and the development of their skills, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, the Egyptian Russian University participated in the International Competition for Scientific and Engineering Innovations in its second edition, which was organized by the Air Defense College in Alexandria for the aim of building students\u2019 skills in programming and developing designs and robots, and empowering them to understand and experience how engineering plays a role in scientific and engineering innovation, and to provide an opportunity for innovation. The Egyptian Russian University has participated in the competition with 3 teams: two teams from the Department of Communication Engineering and the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence under the supervision of Dr. Tamer Saleh, lecturer at the Department of Communications, and a team from the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz, lecturer at the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics.
The qualifiers took place in three stages, where 767 projects from various universities and schools competed in the first stage, and the second stage was completed with 422 projects, so that the final stage was a competition among 130 projects, so that the team of the Communications Engineering Department won the 15th place among the 130 projects.
The project supervisors were selected as arbitrators in the competition among 49 arbitrators throughout the first and second stages. They were honored with souvenirs and certificates of appreciation from the Air Defense College at the honoring ceremony.

Department of Communication Engineering: Omar Gharib- Muhammad Al-Sheikh- Ahmed Saad- Ahmed Khalifa- Sarah Khaled- Mennat Allah Al-Falah- Yara Wajih- Ahmed Amin.
Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering: Mazen Ayman – Ahmed Reda – Abdel Rahman Khalifa – Tasneem Hegazy – Elsayed Sofi.
Faculty of Artificial Intelligence: Nourhan Farid – Al-Zahraa Muhammad – Alaa Mukhtar
