Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, president of the Egyptian Russian University announced that the university is seeking to attract distinguished, hardworking and creative students who have a High School Diploma and equivalent certificates, by offering a group of discounts and partial scholarships to these students. He also pointed out that the university grants students who wish to transfer to the \u201cCollege of Engineering\u201d from other universities a 25% discount on tuition fees scheduled for this year throughout their university studies until graduation. It also grants 10% discount on tuition fees for students who have siblings studying within the university\u2019s faculties and wish to enroll in the University\u2019s eight faculties, with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University\u2019s Board of Trustees.
The president of the Egyptian Russian University, added that all programs of the Faculty of Engineering are accredited by the Union of Arab Engineers, and that the two programs \u201cCommunication Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering\u201d are accredited by the National Authority for Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation. In addition, a joint educational programs agreement has been concluded with the University of Izhevsk State Technical University (ISTU) which offers dual degrees in the fields of communication engineering, construction engineering, and mechatronics and robotics engineering. Under this agreement, a student enrolled in one of the majors has the opportunity to combine theoretical basic sciences with practical experience and training in Russia, and obtain dual certificate.
For her part, Mrs. Ikram Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Secretary General of the Egyptian Russian University confirmed that the university administration grants students who wish to enroll in the Faculty of Engineering from STEM Schools a 25% discount throughout the study period; provided that the cumulative average of the student during the study period is not less than (2.7). She also indicated that the university has transportation lines for students from most of the neighboring provinces and cities.
In addition to the various sports playgrounds on campus, and the central library that contains most of the study references and educational books.
