The Social Solidarity Unit at the Egyptian Russian University launches the \u201cWe Are All One\u201d campaign to raise awareness of autism disorder\n\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In order to promote and protect the human rights and fundamental freedoms of persons with disabilities and to ensure their full and equal enjoyment of them, and within the framework of striving towards a society that cares and includes everyone and ensures that all children and adults with autism are able to live fully, and coinciding with the World Autism Day on April 2, the Social Solidarity Unit at The Egyptian Russian University has an awareness campaign entitled \u201cWe are all one\u201d under the auspices of Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Salah Hashem, advisor to the Ministry of Social Solidarity and General Coordinator of the Social Solidarity Units in Egyptian Universities.
The campaign continued for two consecutive days on the second and third of April on the university campus, and included the distribution of leaflets and awareness messages with the aim of introducing students and university members to autism disorder, and explaining its causes, diagnosis period, symptoms, and challenges faced by individuals with the disorder. Social Solidarity Unit officials also organized under the supervision of the unit\u2019s coordinator, Dr. \/ Reham Abdel Rahman, short dialogue meetings with students to highlight the importance of providing them with proper support and understanding in society.
The campaign received a positive response from the students, as some of them, after receiving some information about the disorder, took the initiative to participate in the campaign that was carried out over the course of two days, expressing their desire to spread knowledge and increase awareness among their colleagues about the correct understanding of autism disorder and their desire to contribute to promote an environment with more understanding and accepting individuals with the disorder.
The awareness campaign concluded with proposals from the students to hold more activities and training workshops aimed at enhancing awareness of disabilities in general, which contributes to enhancing awareness and solidarity in society.
