The Egyptian Russian University organized a seminar entitled \"The Role of Drama in Shaping Political Awareness,\" hosted by the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology.\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdelnabi, the university president, highlighted the event’s significance within the university’s strategic plan to build students’ awareness and enhance their experiences.<\/p>

Dr. Nahla Saad, a political science professor at Cairo University, and Dr. Mustafa Awis, an educational psychology and psychological analysis professor at Stanford University in the United States, were among the distinguished speakers. They emphasized the soft power of drama in changing concepts, shaping societal personalities, and raising awareness across various fields.<\/p>

Dr. Tahira El-Sayed Hemaya, the dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology, explained that the seminar aimed to shed light on the impact of media, especially drama, on societal construction and awareness. Dr. Ahmed El-Bassousy, a political science lecturer at the Faculty, supervised the organization of the seminar.<\/p>

Dr. Niveen Saad underscored the mutual relationship between the concept of societal awareness and drama throughout Egypt’s history. She provided examples of dramatic works that prompted reconsideration of personal status laws and other societal issues, emphasizing drama’s role in shaping political awareness and fostering national loyalty.<\/p>

Dr. Mustafa Awis discussed how American dramas often present future events to shape public opinion, reflecting the influence of the United States in various fields, especially military and technological. He highlighted the importance of courageous drama in addressing societal negatives for improvement.<\/p>

The seminar was attended by university deans, faculty members, and students, including Dr. Mohamed Ihab Fatouh, dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Khaled Tawfik, dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Makarem El-Ghamry, dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Technical Languages, Dr. Hanaa Abdul Rahman, head of student activities, and Dr. Mohamed Farouk, director of the Entrepreneurship Club at the university.<\/p>
