Dr. Al-Tahira El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the faculty administration was in the first ranks of developing studies in colleges of commerce, by including technology in its educational programs, noting that the Central Bank of Egypt had announced on May 9 Last year (2024)\u00a0 \u201cTeaching the Basics of Financial Technology in Egyptian Universities for the First Time in History,\u201d and in this regard, the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology had a forward-looking future vision and pioneering steps and introduced the Digital Banking Services and Financial Technology program since the year (2022).<\/p>

The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University stated that the boom witnessed by the college\u2019s programs preceded many Egyptian, Arab and African colleges in this specialty; It comes with the support of Dr. Muhammad Kamal Al-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the University\u2019s Board of Trustees, after providing all capabilities to meet all the needs of students and faculty members, and to raise the college\u2019s ability to perform its academic and societal mission as desired, and with the support of Dr. Sherif Fakhry Muhammad Abdel Nabi, University President, by developing modern and unique academic programs. Keeping pace with developments in the local or international labor market.<\/p>

Dr. Al-Tahira Al-Sayed indicated that in response to and keeping pace with the rapid technological development, the \u201cFaculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology\u201d at the university has since 2020, just two years after the start of the college, amended its regulations and created a variety of modern programs that are based on technology applications in the field of business, which provides outstanding opportunities for students to acquire the modern scientific digital skills and expertise required in the changing labor market.<\/p>

The programs that have been developed are as follows: –<\/p>

1- Creating a Business Technology Department: This department offers a group of programs that include more than one scientific specialization \u201cmulti-disciplinary,\u201d as it integrates the concepts of information technology technologies with administrative, economic, financial, and political sciences. There are four programs in this specialization:<\/p>

A- The \u201cBusiness Analytics\u201d program. This program qualifies graduates for jobs in the applications of: \u201cdata analysis, business intelligence, and big data analysis\u201d to help solve complex business problems and make decisions, we will have graduates from this program next academic year (2024-2025).<\/p>

B- Management Information Systems \u201cMIS\u201d Program: This program contributes to developing business management and information technology skills, and graduates of this program can work in systems analysis, application programming, project management, and as information technology support employees in local and regional companies.<\/p>

C- Digital Banking and Fintech Program: This program prepares students to work in the digital banking and financial services sector, and allows them to understand technological innovations in this field. This opens wide opportunities for them in the field of financial technology, financial data analysis, and digital banking services, and we will have graduates from this program after two years.<\/p>

D- Marketing Intelligence Program: This program gives students the necessary skills to develop marketing strategies using modern technology, and thus opens up broad opportunities for them in the field of digital marketing and market analysis.<\/p>

2- Digital Political Science Program: This program opens new fields for students to understand political transformations in the era of digitalization which provide them with distinct opportunities in the fields of digital political research and analysis.<\/p>

3- Digital Economics Program: This program enhances students\u2019 understanding of modern economic phenomena and enables them to analyze economic data using the latest technologies. This gives them various job opportunities in the fields of economic research and big data applications.<\/p>

The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University confirmed that the fields of work available to graduates include programs in the governmental, private and consulting sectors where graduates can apply the skills and knowledge they acquired during their studies in advanced programs at the Faculty of Management. In this way, the vision and mission of the Egyptian Russian University and the Faculty of Management, Economics and business technology are in line with \u201cEgypt Vision 2030\u201d, by providing advanced educational programs that focus on technology and pave the way to graduate a new generation of experts and innovators who contribute to achieving economic and social development in Egypt and abroad.<\/p>
