Part of the activities of the first day of the Startup Olympiad second phase at the Egyptian Russian University<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Second phase activities of the University’s Startup Olympiad, which is considered one of the most prominent competitions in the field of innovation, was launched, supported by Inovators Support Fund (ISF) of the Ministry of Higher Education.
The first day began with the university coordinator\u2019s welcome speech, with attendees represented by students’ march, researchers’ and other hosted institute students march. This was followed by the speech of the Director of the training company, welcoming the attendees, and then the training started on business model and planning.
The training included topics (the added value of a startup company – building customer relationships – the main resources or activities of startup companies – cost management). Then the elements of the business model and the stages of business planning were presented.
In the second part of the day, a workshop was held that included the project teams\u2019 initial proposal presentations for business models of the submitted Olympic projects.<\/p>

In the evening of the first day, online meetings were held for technical guidance for the projects submitted in the competition, attended by faculty of pharmacy students.
The first day’s activities were attended by 45 students and 6 researchers.<\/p>
