\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hameya, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the faculty administration organized a training visit for the \u201cfaculty students\u201d comprising (60) students, under the supervision of faculty members and supporting staff, to the headquarters of “The Information and Decision Support Center,” which is affiliated to The Council of Ministers. The student visited the center at its new headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. Dr. Al-Tehra added that the visit was supported by Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the University\u2019s Board of Trustees, and under the auspices of Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abd-el-Naby, the University President.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hameya highlighted that the faculty delegation comprised Dr. Ahmed Al-Basoosy, Assistant Professor of “Political Science” at the faculty. The visit was part of the practical training program as per the plan of the students’ scientific activities. It took place within the framework of the faculty\u2019s keenness to provide all the necessary means to simplify the scientific material for students. It also conforms with the university\u2019s strategy to prepare a graduate who is knowledgeable about the various fields in both internal and external labor markets.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University added that such visits contribute greatly to honing the students\u2019 skills and emphasizing the importance of the faculty\u2019s academic courses. She also pinpointed that the visit was carried out in coordination with Professor\/ Amany Farouk, Head of Executive Management and Dr. Yasser Darweesh, Director of the General Department of Public Relations and Protocols at the Information and Decision Support Center.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Dean also highlighted that an educational symposium was held to introduce the Decision Support Center and the importance of cooperation between the center and the Egyptian Russian University through a number of axes, the most important of which were:<\/p>

– providing an opportunity for researchers from the Information and Decision Support Center to participate in educational seminars at the Egyptian Russian University.<\/p>

– sending a collection of the center\u2019s publications to the Egyptian Russian University.<\/p>

– providing the ERU’s students with the opportunity to participate in the training courses which are provided by the center in cooperation with its partners.<\/p>

– inviting the faculty members and supporting staff to write in the center\u2019s periodicals.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hameya pointed out that a quick presentation was made about the Egyptian Russian University and the establishment and development of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology. In addition, an introductory video was displayed about The Information and Decision Support Center. The first session, which was presented by Dr. Engineer \/ Reham Sadiq, Vice Director of the Central Administration for the Center Head\u2019s Office Affairs, presented a historical overview of the center and its work fields, which witnessed active interaction by the students and took the form of a participatory interactive session.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University, furthermore, stated that another session was held under the title \u201cUsing economic modeling in decision support,\u201d which was presented by Dr. Shaymaa Hussein, Director of the General Department of Modeling. The students participated and interacted during the session as it was relevant to their studies. The closing session was presented by Ms. Buthayna Farag, Director of the General Department of Information Analysis and Research, and it was titled: \u201cData Analysis and Indicator Extraction.\u201d<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At the end of the meeting, the students thanked the leaders of the Information and Decision Support Center for the warm reception and for making the most of the information provided. They also thanked the faculty members for their interaction during the symposium. Dr. Ahmed Al-Basoosy thanked the center staff for their hospitality and for their cooperation with the aim to support the faculty students and to build up their skills and educational capacities.<\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The center’s experts were invited to visit the headquarters of the Egyptian Russian University in order to provide an opportunity for a larger number of students to learn about the nature of the center\u2019s work and its role. The invitation was greatly welcomed by the center\u2019s leaders. The Egyptian Russian University delegation then presented souvenirs to the center. Finally, group photos were taken of the delegation with the center staff members.<\/p>
