Students of the Egyptian Russian University Win Top Positions in the Russian Language Olympiad for Universities<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdelnaby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that student Maryam Mohamed Metwally from the Russian Language Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun won first place and the gold medal in Russian grammar at the Russian Language Olympiad for Egyptian universities, organized by the Russian Cultural Center. He noted that students from the Faculty of Al-Alsun participated in the competition with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University\u2019s Board of Trustees.

The university president emphasized that the university is committed to developing students\u2019 skills and enhancing their abilities through participation in both local and international competitions, with the aim of preparing them for the demands of the local, regional, and global job markets upon graduation. He added that the university administration is keen on supporting all forms of student activities both on and off campus, which contributes to encouraging students to engage in healthy competition with peers from other universities and institutes, fostering knowledge exchange and motivating them to continue excelling.

In the same context, Dr. Makarem El-Ghamry, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at the Egyptian Russian University, stated that student Rawan Mohamed Abdallah from the Russian Language Department won third place and the bronze medal in Russian grammar in the same competition. She achieved a well-deserved win amidst tough competition among students from universities across Egypt. Dr. El-Ghamry highlighted the university\u2019s and faculty\u2019s ongoing dedication to student support and removing any obstacles they face. She also emphasized the university administration\u2019s commitment to strengthening ties with major international organizations and educational institutions in the fields of academic education, culture, science, practical training, and technology, aiming to build highly qualified cadres capable of working in governmental and private institutions, international organizations, and private enterprises.

The Dean confirmed that participating students had the opportunity to compete in various contests and presentations under themes such as:

\u201cThe Literary Heritage of Poet Lermontov\u201d

\u201cThe Role of the Family in Contemporary Society\u201d

\u201cRussia: Language and Traditions\u201d

For their part, the students expressed their joy at being given the opportunity to showcase their language skills and benefit from this enriching experience.
