Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian-Russian University, announced the opening of the “Harvest 4” exhibition, showcasing the work of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts during the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The exhibition features works in the fields of visual arts, environmental design, visual communication, and the design of dolls and digital games. He noted that the exhibition embodies the aspirations and vision of the pioneering visual arts students of the Faculty of Fine Arts, who represent not merely academic output but herald the birth of a new visual landscape where craftsmanship intersects with expression, vision with beauty, and identity with the future. The exhibition was made possible with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
In the same context, Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University, explained that the exhibition stems from the faculty administration’s keenness to motivate talented students, develop their abilities, and refine their skills so that graduates excel in all fields of fine arts. This is part of spreading awareness and artistic culture in the community surrounding the university. He pointed out that the exhibition included works by more than 300 male and female students from various artistic disciplines, in a celebration reflecting the diversity of creative experiences and the level of artistic production within the faculty, and in the presence of the artist Hanan Fadloun.
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University stated that the students’ exhibited works herald the emergence of a new generation of artists and designers who will occupy a prominent position in the comprehensive development path that the nation aspires to at this stage. He added that the students’ environmental awareness was clearly evident in their sculpture, cellular, and interior design works, as many of their visual visions leaned towards sustainable art through the use of environmentally friendly materials, recycling of raw materials, and the presentation of smart design solutions that reduce environmental waste and support sustainability. He also noted that the faculty offers programs that keep pace with the times and the needs of the job market, whether local, regional, or international, in addition to studios and specialized facilities for producing multimedia arts, specialized workshops, laboratories, and distinguished faculty staff members.
Dr. Mohamed Orabi revealed that the exhibited works varied among: cellular design, interior design, sculpture, oil painting, photography, printmaking, game design, fashion design, and animated films. This provided a comprehensive overview of student work throughout the academic year, highlighting the interrelationship of artistic fields, the diversity of expression styles, and the richness of students’ creative experiences across more than 200 diverse artworks. He added that the works showcased distinctive artistic talents with innovative ideas that open new horizons and promise a bright future for the students.
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University stated that this exhibition is the product of a new teaching approach based on an interactive methodology aimed at developing critical, creative, scientific, and research-oriented thinking skills. It also works to cultivate a deeper understanding of the concepts and cultural contexts of the Fine Arts movement and its trajectories, both locally and internationally. He commended the faculty staff members and teaching assistants who contributed to the exhibition’s success, noting their role in a new emergence of a generation of artists and designers who will equip themselves with the tools of the modern age within the faculty, enabling them to achieve prominence in the local, regional, and global art markets.
