The Egyptian Russian University in Badr City, Cairo Governorate, received a student delegation from the Russian Federation within the student training program on the use of the Arabic language and familiarization with the historical places in Cairo and its surroundings, history, culture and Egyptian traditions, which the university offers to students of Russian universities with which cooperation agreements are signed with the aim of strengthening joint cultural and scientific relations and activating exchange Students for openness to foreign cultures and closer relations between the Egyptian state, Egyptians and the peoples of the Russian Federation.<\/p>

Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the university campus received a student delegation from the Russian State University for Human Sciences in Moscow for training in the use of the Arabic language and to learn about Egyptian monuments, noting that the visit of the student delegation represents an embodiment of the university\u2019s continuing role as one of the tributaries of cooperation between The Arab Republic of Egypt and the Federal Republic of Russia. It also represents one of the university\u2019s contributions to the development of Egyptian soft power by providing the opportunity for Russian students studying the Arabic language to be trained on its use in Egypt and at the same time introducing them in a practical way to the Egyptian archeology, history, culture and traditions. The university believes that This makes them more understanding of the conditions of the Egyptian state and the hopes of the Egyptians, and this will be reflected in their decisions and dealings with Egypt in their future working lives.<\/p>

In the same context, Mrs. Ikram Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Russian University, explained that the supervisor of the training and accompaniment of the student delegation during their month-long stay in Cairo is Professor Mohamed Saber, the Russian language teacher at the university. She also indicated that the university provided all the basic needs of students during The period of their stay in Egypt includes everything related to housing, training and entertainment, adding that a full program has been prepared over the course of the students’ stay that includes many places of interest in the most beautiful Egyptian areas and landmarks, whether cultural, tourist or recreational.<\/p>

The student, Sophia Dandel from the Russian Federation, stated that she is happy to be trained in the use of the Arabic language at the Egyptian Russian University, to give her an opportunity to get to know the Egyptian and Arab culture closely, and she touched this on her own through the visit program, explaining that she is ready to continue making a great effort to learn the Arabic language. And to make her own contribution to the dissemination of culture and the consolidation of Arab friendship in Russia, and she hopes to work as an ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of her country, especially in a country in the Arab region or the Middle East.<\/p>

Student Azizkhon Abrorov explained that he studies Arabic at his university in Russia and is very pleased with his presence at the Egyptian Russian University because it polished his talent in using the “Arabic language”, which will qualify him to work as a translator in the future.. Pointing out that during the program prepared by the university in Egypt, he visited the “archaeological and historical” places, and he was very impressed with the pyramids of Giza and happy with the kindness of the Egyptian people in dealing with foreign visitors. This was evident with him during the visit program.<\/p>

Student Arina Aselgozina from the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) in Moscow reported; that she loves the Egyptian civilization and tourist attractions, as she was visiting with her family the cities of “Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada”; This made her want to train on the use of the Arabic language at the Egyptian Russian University during the student training in the summer, noting that she wanted to work as a teacher for the \u201cArabic language\u201d for those wishing to\u00a0 open intellectually and culturally with the various Arab and Islamic civilizations in Russia, and their number is increasing dramatically lately.<\/p>

In the same context, , Borislav Voronin , student from Moscow, said that he is studying Arabic and the Egyptian dialect at the \u201cRussian State University for Human Sciences\u201d RSUH, and he is pleased with his visit to Egypt and one of the most beautiful places he visited during the trip program is \u201cMohammed Ali Museum in Manial, Saqqara Pyramid in Giza.\u201d Al-Azhar Park, and the Zamalek area.\u201d He hopes to become a translator to work in the \u201ctourism field\u201d, given that Egypt is one of the most important tourist destinations that the Russian people accept, because of its beautiful coastal cities and rare and picturesque coral reefs.<\/p>

The student, Daria Kalmykova, from the Russian State University for Human Sciences \u201cRSUH\u201d in Moscow, indicated that she is trained in the use of the language and gets acquainted with the Arab culture distinctly at the \u201cEgyptian Russian University,\u201d and she wants to become a translator in \u201cthe diplomatic field\u201d in her country and her presence in \u201cCairo.\u201d will help her achieve her dream in the work she loves, pointing out that she is happy to visit historical places such as \u201cKhan Al-Khalili, Downtown, Fayoum Governorate, and the churches of Old Egypt, and Ismailia.\u201d She said “I will repeat the visit again with my family who I will tell about many beautiful things I saw during the visit program.”<\/p>
