These events aim at contributing in achieving self-sufficiency in the manufacture of satellites in Egypt, and graduating a generation of engineers capable of joining the field of advanced industries in space sciences in the national and international market.<\/p><p>The President of the Egyptian Russian University in Cairo indicated that the \u201cEgyptian Russian University\u201d, in Cairo, &#8220;Badr City&#8221; received a delegation from the Egyptian space agency in February 2021 at the university headed by engineer Waseem Eisa\u00a0 and a protocol was signed to participate in the implementation of the educational satellite project,<\/p><p>linked to the Egyptian space technology education platform, and that the most important items of joint cooperation between the university and the space agency, is to equip an educational laboratory for satellites at the most advanced level to be used \u00a0in training cadres of students and researchers, as the lab contains \u00a0technological components \u00a0and simulation programs for the \u201cEgyptian Satellite for universities&#8221;<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry explained that the aim of signing a joint cooperation protocol between The Faculty of Engineering at the university, and the \u201cEgyptian Space Agency\u201d is to qualify manpower and prepare cadres in the field of space science and technology, capable of achieving sustainable development goals, and opening up a field of space research and new horizons for the development and contribution to the state\u2019s plan to manufacture and launch satellites with Egyptian hands and minds to keep pace with the programs of developed countries in this field.<\/p><p>.<\/p><p>The President of the Egyptian Russian University in Cairo, Badr City, stated that the University\u2019s Faculty of Engineering in the year (2020) got the &#8220;sixth and tenth&#8221; places. Out of (56) teams from different &#8220;governmental and private universities&#8221; In the &#8220;Egyptian Space Agency&#8221; competition program in the summer training under the name of Space Science &amp; Technology For Egyptian university students in cooperation with &#8220;Benha University&#8221; Obour City branch, and the financing of the &#8220;Egyptian Space Agency&#8221;, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Al-Qoussy, CEO of the agency; It was the only university that got two teams including one of the top ten that carried out the manufacture of \u201csatellite\u201d parts of Educational Cube Satellite for universities.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>In the same context, Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian University, confirmed \u00a0that the participation of students of the Faculty of Engineering from the departments of Communication and Mechatronics and robots&#8221;
