Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the university administration organized a blood donation campaign under the slogan \u201cI am an Egyptian donor, I am a permanent donor\u201d within the framework of the university\u2019s active role in community service, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population represented by \u201cblood transfusion services.\u201d The Nationality\u201d in Abbasia, organized by the Egyptian Federation of Pharmacy Students at the University EPSF-ERU, and the campaign was for three days inside the university campus.<\/p>

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Abdel-Nabi stressed the university\u2019s keenness and constant work to support such campaigns and host them every semester; With the aim of spreading the culture of blood donation among students and university staff, and forming a broad base of donors; To provide safe and sufficient blood to save every injured or patient who needs a blood transfusion.. Pointing out that this campaign is a noble humanitarian work that contributes to saving the lives of thousands of patients who are in dire need of blood transfusion in government and university hospitals.<\/p>

In the same context, Dr. Omnia Ezzat, the supervisor of the Scientific Society at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University, indicated that the Scientific Society launched this campaign with the slogan \u201cI am an Egyptian donor, I am a permanent donor\u201d, \u200b\u200bto confirm that this campaign is not the first and will not be the last; To continue the supreme goal that everyone has long been striving to achieve, which is to achieve self-sufficiency for blood bags by 2030. She explained that these campaigns are an embodiment of the values \u200b\u200bof giving and giving, based on the principle of humanitarian assistance and responsibility.<\/p>

The supervisor of the Scientific Society of the College of Pharmacy stated that the campaign included an examination of donors, including university employees and students, before they made a donation. To confirm the readiness of their bodies for this, and the campaign succeeded in collecting (198) blood bags within (3) days, and educating more than (5077) male and female students of the need to donate, by clarifying the importance of donation to the donor and recipient, and that both of them are in the beneficiary\u2019s circle .. revealing that they are being collected Donor data and continuous communication with them; To remind them of the necessity of a permanent donation every four months; To achieve the goal of self-sufficiency of blood bags to save many lives.<\/p>
