Congratulations to the Mechatronics Engineering students at the Egyptian Russian University for winning first place in the VALEO Tech Talents Demo Day 2024 competition
The ERU administration congratulates the students of the “Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Program” at the Faculty of Engineering at the university, for winning first place by their project (Design and Implementation of the Third Level of Smart Self-Driving Electric Car) in the VALEO Tech Talents Demo competition, for graduation projects for students of the Faculties of Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computers and Information at Egyptian universities, which was held under the auspices and supervision of the branch of Valeo International Company in the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Smart Village.
This competition is considered one of the largest, strongest and most competitive specialized technological competitions, as 511 graduation projects participated in the competition, where they were filtered in 3 stages to 66 graduation projects, then 60 graduation projects, then 33 graduation projects to participate in the final eliminations to select the best 5 student projects based on a practical testing of all the functions and characteristics achieved by the project………. All student projects were evaluated by a team of specialized judges from Valeo Company. The ERU Mechatronics Engineering Team was announced as the winner of the first place.
The winning teams were ranked as follows:
1- Egyptian Russian University
2- Cairo University
3- Helwan University
4- Zagazig University
5- Alexandria University
The project was implemented by a team of undergraduate students in the Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Program: Abdel Rahman Abdel Fattah Al-Rashidi, Ibrahim Al-Sayed Al-Sayed, Mohsen Mohamed, Rawda Abdel Khalek, Dina Mohamed Fouad, Hossam Hassan, Mahmoud Zalat, Shorouk Wael, Aya Abdullah, Nesma Ramadan, and Mariam Abdel Rahman under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Al-Ramsisi, Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering.
