Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hamiyah, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Professional Technology, and Computers at the Egyptian-Russian University, announced that the “Marketing Department” at the Faculty organized an exhibition for the projects of the faculty’s students at the level of different classes for the academic year (2021-2022). This exhibition included a number of distinguished projects for most of the courses of the marketing communications programs. The aim of the exhibition was to train students on practical life, noting that the exhibition is part of the university’s policies, refine students’ skills and link the practical side with theoretical study, and prepare a graduate suitable for the local and international labor market, under the guidance and support of Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the University.

The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Professional Technology, and Computers at the Egyptian-Russian University added that more than 100 male and female students have implemented 20 projects within the framework of the faculty’s interest in the applied aspect in most of the curricula that are taught in all departments. She pointed out that most curricula require the submission of projects that students undertake, the purpose of which is to encourage them to apply the concepts they learned in those theoretical curricula to companies working on the ground to prepare the student to deal with professional reality with a vision and high technical tools.

Dr. Al-Tahera Al-Sayed Hamiyah emphasized that the faculty administration aims, through its vision and mission, to provide values ​​and actively participate in research and development; to shape the future of business and society, by providing high-quality academic and professional education and engaging students and staff members in innovative educational and research projects linked to industry and academic and research institutions; to link between the theoretical framework of the curricula and how to apply it practically, and this was positively reflected in the projects of the marketing student through the ability to make a plan that studies the “Egyptian and international” market research, determine the needs of consumers for the ability to provide goods and services that are in line with the requirements of consumers, and study the factors that affect consumer buying behavior.

The Dean of the Faculty of Management, Professional Technology, and Computers at the Egyptian-Russian University stated that the projects discussed the aspect of digital marketing and the role of social media in influencing consumer behavior and opening new doors for marketing through social media. She pointed out that one of the most prominent projects presented by students was the “Workshop” project. It is an application downloaded to the mobile phone to solve all car problems in one place, where the professionals specialized in denting and maintenance, as well as spare parts and accessories that the cars may need, gather in one application, which is the “Workshop”.

In the same context, Dr. Mona Moussa, a teacher in the Marketing Department at the Faculty of Management, Professional Technology, and Computers at the Egyptian-Russian University, said that each student in the faculty is required to participate with a group of his colleagues to create a project of a viable marketing study and reach the desired goal, which makes students read more books, articles’ analyses, and additional academic research to hone their skills. She further explained that these projects include submitting a written report and presentation in which the project team participates, to develop the culture of teamwork, develop students’ communication skills, and train them to write in a sound academic manner.

Dr. Mona Moussa indicated that the students’ projects encourage creativity and innovation in writing the marketing study and field research, to serve the establishments that they will join in their practical life after graduation, which aim to achieve sustainable development in the labor market. She also pointed out that these projects develop students’ presentation skills, increase their abilities to convince customers, and link them to the needs of the labor market, whether local or international.
