A medical and awareness campaign for the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at "Tahya Misr Preparatory School" in Badr City
Believing in the role of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University and its responsibility to provide medical and awareness services to the community, and within the framework of the cooperation between the Faculty and the Ministry of Health and Population and under the auspices of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, and the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Khaled Tawfik, and under the supervision of Dr. Amany Amer , a medical and awareness campaign was organized last Wednesday on 7/12/2022 at “Tahya Misr Preparatory School” in Badr City. 115 students were treated and many of these cases were transferred to the clinics of the university for more necessary actions, in addition to the awareness of 350 students about the importance of maintaining oral and dental health and the correct way to clean the teeth, as well as the etiquette of coughing and sneezing to avoid the spread of infection among students in the school. Special thanks to Mrs. Professor Secretary General of the University / Ikram Abdel Hamid who has overcome all the difficulties and facilitated all hardships.
Special thanks to the head of the Central Administration of Dentistry, Dr. Walid Hassan, and the participants from the administration for their presence and sending 2 mobile dental clinics. We also thank Mr. Tariq Bilal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Teachers of Al-Shorouk and Badr Educational Administration for his fruitful cooperation with the university, and thanks to Dr. Nasser El-Gendy, Director of Al-Shorouk and Badr Educational Department, as well as the school director, Mr. Refaat and the school staff for helping to complete the work successfully.
A team of interns and a number of students from the Scientific Society and a number of nurses participated in this convoy of the college’s sons.
And always all thanks to Dr. Nahawand Thabet for allowing the cooperation with Unilever which was represented by Ms. Mona Abdo and in the presence of the Signal team, Signal toothpaste was distributed to 500 students.
