The Egyptian Russian University honors distinguished graduates and students of Artificial Intelligence .
Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abd-el-Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University (ERU), announced that the university administration organized a celebration to honor the top graduates and top students at various grades of the academic year (2023/2024) at the “Faculty of Artificial Intelligence.” The celebration was held with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Russian University …
Dr. Sherif then saluted the present parents and families who worked hard, stayed up and spent to reach this moment, and to present to the society a distinguished graduate in the world of modern technologies, through the fields of “artificial intelligence and data science.” This area has become one of the most important opportunities and work fields of the future, and everyone hopes to work in it, due to its relevance to various aspects of life, and most especially: industry, commerce, agriculture, transportation means … as well as other specializations.”
In the same vein, Dr. Hesham Fathy, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the ERU, called on graduates and students to be sincere, dedicated, and to continue their research and learning. This is in order to cope with everything new in their field of profession and other specializations … He stated that this celebration was organized in appreciation of the efforts of students and graduates all through the study period, and because many of them had won awards and received certificates through their participation in local and international competitions; and through this, they have raised up the university flag on podiums, at both the local and international levels. He also wished them ongoing success in their professional and academic lives.
On his part, Dr. Said Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the ERU, congratulated the top graduates and outstanding students at various grades … He called on them to perform their role in society building, and to continue to exert effort and do their best in order to keep that the state’s flag flying high, thanks to the efforts of its brilliant and honorable diligent sons and daughters like these students … Dr. Said also paid tribute to the new graduates who not only worked hard in their studies, but also showed relentless determination to achieve their ambitions. He congratulated the parents of the students at different grades, who sacrificed everything to reach this day in which they reap the fruits of their efforts and celebrate the graduation of their sons and daughters and their success.
It is worth mentioning that, as part of the celebration activities, a scientific exhibition was held, which included more than 40 projects by students of different grades in artificial intelligence specializations. The projects covered several principal fields, including: “Machine Learning”, “Deep Learning”, “Natural Language Processing” – NLP, “Computer Vision”, “Intelligent Robotics”, and “Expert Systems”, which open broad horizons for practical applications and scientific research in the area of artificial intelligence.
It is also worth noting that the following distinguished graduates of the academic year (2023/2024) were honored during the celebration:
– From Artificial Intelligence Department: Ahmed Mohamed Atta Mohamed Khattab, Nadeen Mohamed Abd-el-Aziz Mohamed, Alaa Badawy Abu-Ibrahim, Abd-el-Nasser Abd-el-Hakim Morsy, Alaa Mukhtar Amin Ahmed, Basmalah Yasser Mahmoud Al-Morshedy, and Aly Ayman Aly Al-Sayed.
– From Data Science Department: Salma Maged Mohamed Hassan, Habibah Ahmed Saad, Farha Khaled Ahmed Abd-el-Karim.
It is noteworthy as well that, during the celebration, the following distinguished students of the academic year (2023/2024) were honored:
– From the third grade – specializing in Artificial Intelligence: Asmaa Mohamed Al-Sayed Baz Mohamed, Arwa Mohamed Aly Hussein Aly Al-Maliky, and Malak Walid Talaat Al-Senusy.
– From the third grade, specializing in Data Science: Youssef Abd-el-Azim Mohamed Abd-el-Azim, Kirellos Al-Hany Nessim Khalifa Atteya, and Yasmine Hossam Al-Deen Abd-el-Fattah Abd-el-Aziz Anan.
– From the second grade: Amr Aly Amin Zaqzouq, Ahmed Magdy Mohamed Aly Nassar and Ahmed Reda Ahmed Fekry.
