Explore the Career Opportunities for Graduates of the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Egyptian Russian University

Dr. Tahera El-Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology at the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the faculty has been proactive to promote the “Egypt Vision 2030” for sustainable development by updating its educational programs. In this regard, the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology has introduced a forward-looking vision and pioneering steps, including the introduction of the Digital Banking Services and Fintech program in 2022, as well as the Business Technology programs under the 2020 curriculum, with the first batch of graduates completing their studies this year.

 

The Dean of the Faculty highlighted that this development is supported by Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who has provided all necessary resources for students and faculty members, thereby enhancing the faculty’s capacity to fulfill its academic and societal mission. Additionally, Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdelnaby, President of the University, has directed the introduction of new and unique academic programs that meet the needs of the local and international labor markets while keeping pace with contemporary scientific and technological advancements.

 

Dr. Tahera El-Sayed explained that in response to these proactive measures, the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology has, since 2020, just two years after its inception, revised its curricula and introduced a variety of programs that focus on the application of technology in the business field, offering students distinctive opportunities to acquire modern skills and experiences required in the evolving job market. The newly introduced programs are as follows:

 

  1. 1. Establishment of the Business Technology Department: This department offers a range of multidisciplinary programs that integrate IT technology concepts with administrative, economic, financial, and political sciences. The four programs in this department include:

  – Business Analytics Program: Prepares graduates for careers in “data analysis, business intelligence, and big data analysis,” helping them address complex business problems and make decisions.

  – Management Information Systems (MIS) Program: Develops skills in business management and IT, enabling graduates to work in systems analysis, application programming, project management, and IT support roles in local and regional companies.

  – Digital Banking and Fintech Program: Prepares students for careers in the digital financial and banking services sector, providing them with an understanding of technological innovations in this field, leading to opportunities in fintech, financial data analysis, and digital banking services. Graduates from this program are expected in two years.

  – Marketing Intelligence Program: Equips students with the skills necessary to develop marketing strategies using modern technology, opening up opportunities in digital marketing and market analysis.

 

  1. 2. Digital Political Science Program: Opens new avenues for students to understand political transformations in the digital era, providing them with excellent opportunities in digital political research and analysis.

 

  1. 3. Digital Economics Program: Enhances students’ understanding of modern economic phenomena and enables them to analyze economic data using the latest techniques, offering diverse job opportunities in economic research and big data applications.

 

In addition to the above, the faculty’s programs include:

– Business Administration Program with specializations in “Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and General Management,” qualifying graduates for careers in decision support, international organizations, national and international NGOs, digital marketing, media, government offices, public services, blockchain development centers, and marketing research centers.

– Accounting Program: Prepares graduates for careers in Egyptian and international banks, financial institutions, stock markets, commercial consulates abroad, and big data analysis centers.

– Finance Program: Equips students for the job market in local and international financial institutions and in finance and investment firms.

– Economics Program: Prepares graduates for careers in international organizations, financial institutions, think tanks, research institutes, government offices, and more.

– Political Science Program: Qualifies graduates for careers in diplomatic institutions, embassies, consulates, international organizations, national and international NGOs, think tanks, research institutes, government offices, and decision support centers.

 

Dean Tahera El-Sayed emphasized that graduates of the faculty from the classes of 2022 and 2023 are currently employed in various Egyptian banks, such as the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, as well as in the National Institute for Sustainable Development, the Egyptian Tax Authority, the Suez Canal Authority, and international accounting and auditing firms.
