A student in the faculty of engineering of the Egyptian Russian University wins the bronze in the Huawei International Competition

The President of the Egyptian Russian University added that this success encourages the university to continue its drive towards motivating its students to participate in various forums, developing the spirit of innovation, following up on every scientific development, and refining the capabilities and skills of students instead of being satisfied With the methods of indoctrination in education … indicating that the university administration is in the process of agreeing on a cooperation protocol with the “Huawei Company”, to establish an “academy of
Huawei on campus to be among the first universities to cooperate with the company in academic activities because of its numerous benefits for students studying information systems.
In the same context, Prof. Dr. Alaa Mohamed Al-Batch, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University, indicated that the protocol with
“the International Huawei Corporation” provides the opportunity to train a number of distinguished faculty and assisting staff to obtain the international certificate of the company; To become certified trainers within the university … revealing that among the terms of the protocol is the establishment of a training center for students from inside and outside the university so that the local community can benefit from the university’s site in “Badr City” as well as the neighboring cities by providing Integrated educational services.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University explained that the “Huawei” competition began this year at mid-year vacation in (2020), definitely in the middle of the February Last year. The College of Engineering in the competition to be one of the (500) students who were chosen from universities that participated and qualified to enter the exam of the competition at the level of the Republic.
Professor Dr. Alaa Muhammad Al-Batch stated that the student did well to win the bronze medal at the level of the Republic under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Fathy, head of the communications department at the College of Engineering at the university … pointing out that Global Huawei company is one of the leading companies in the field of communication devices and networks in the world especially the 5 G network.
The President of the Egyptian Russian University added that the competition was contested by about (59) students of the university’s faculties, in the literary arts branches “short story, poetry, and prose”. … explaining that the competition was judged by voting for university college students using their personal official e-mail remotely “online”.
In the same context, Dr. Hanaa Abdel-Rahman, pioneer of student activities at the Egyptian Russian University, explained that the competition was attended by students of the faculties of “Oral and Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management and Professional Technology and Computers” … praising the high level of artistic works submitted by all students, although they are not Specialists, and that many of these students possess the spirit of perseverance that enables them to continue their career to become a writers or poets in the future besides their basic work.

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that a memorandum of understanding had been signed with the Egyptian Space Agency in “November 2019”, for cooperation in the field of space engineering and technology and satellites within the framework of the university’s plan to build capacity in the field of “space science” And remote sensing, “through cooperation with specialized institutions, whether at home or in the” Russian Federation “… indicating that the purpose of that is to establish a distinguished center in the field as a prelude to establishing a study program in this strategic specialization and that the aim is to cooperate with the Egyptian Space Agency. It is the localization and development of space science and technology for its students, faculty members and researchers.
In the same context, Dr. Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian-Russian University, emphasized that the most important terms of joint cooperation between the university and the Space Agency is to equip an educational satellite laboratory with the latest model to be used in training cadres of students and researchers, as the laboratory will contain technological components and simulation programs for the “Egyptian satellite for universities” .. adding that the aim is to prepare cadres for the labor market in companies that manufacture and manage satellites, whether at the local or international levels soon, and to open a field of research and new horizons for development and to contribute to the state’s plan to manufacture and launch satellites with Egyptian hands and minds; To keep pace with the programs of developed countries in this field.
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian-Russian University revealed that the University’s Faculty of Engineering participated in the summer training program “The Educational Satellite” during the summer of (2020) and won two advanced positions within the training competition held under the auspices of the “Egyptian Space Agency” and supervised by Dr. Ahmed Siddiq and Dr. Tamer Saleh, Department of Telecommunication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and it was recommended to select members of university students to participate in the “Egyptian Universities Moon” project, as their graduation project.
