Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Khaled Tawfik, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University, and within the framework of the activities of the Continuous Dental Education Unit in the faculty,- such as workshops and lectures for the staff members, and internship doctors, and for all dentists from outside the university-, that aim at educating modern diagnostic and treatment methods in the field of Oral and Dental medicine, exchanging experiences and clinical skills, a lecture entitled: “Basic Life Support” was held. The lecture was given by Dr. Khaled Sherif Gamil, the assistant lecturer in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Where he dealt with methods of providing basic life support and resuscitation of the patient in emergency situations.
