Within the framework of the activities of the #Conscious Youth Campaign, and in cooperation with the University’s Social Solidarity Unit and the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction, a group of students from the Faculties of Pharmacy, Engineering, Applied Arts, Management, Economics and Business Technology at the University, visited “Univert Food Industries” company and factory in Badr City. They were greeted by Engineer Mohamed Asaad Khalil, Executive Director of the company, and Engineer Tariq Bilal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Shorouk and Badr Educational Area.
The visiting team toured the factory, gave an awareness lecture to the workers about the harmful effects of cigarette smoking and drug abuse. and corrected many misconceptions about drug abuse. They also corrected many misconceptions about drug abuse. The team also distributed awareness flyers. This visit comes within the framework of the university’s social awareness activities, and to enhance the concept and participation of students in volunteer work.
