Dr. Ezz El-Din Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Egyptian Russian University, announced that within the framework of supporting students’ practical skills, and in an effort to achieve integration between the college and industrial institutions, a practical training visit was organized for students of the University’s Faculty of Applied Arts to the “Glass Home” company in the 10th of Ramadan City in Sharkia Governorate. this comes in light of the joint cooperation protocol between the college, factories and production companies. He pointing out that this visit comes within the educational strategic plan to develop students’ practical skills and train them on modern technologies in the field of manufacturing, and in the fields of their academic specializations. The visit was organized with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and under the patronage of Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the University.

 

The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Egyptian Russian University confirmed that a field visit was conducted for the students of the “Glass Department” at the college to the “Glass Home” factory with the aim of supporting the educational process in the department and learning about different production methods in the production lines of major factories; this allows the student to continuously interact with various production systems in the areas of glass specialization.

 

Dr. Ezz El-Din Abdel Aziz explained that the college’s students conduct these field visits periodically to the state’s national projects, institutions and companies specialized in the fields of applied and industrial arts. This is to get to know all its sections; and to participate in all its activities, revealing that such training visits contribute greatly to the excellence of the educational process at the college and qualify students for the labor market through direct exposure to its various fields in the applied arts to implement the training and practical part of the various academic programs within the college for students. He pointed out that the visiting delegation of students inspected all departments of the “Glass Home” factory to learn about the production lines and the various stages of “operation, shaping, and coloring.”

 

For their part, the students expressed how happy they were because of the university’s keenness to prepare and train them, and provide them with the necessary specialized skills for professional practice and work in the fields of applied arts sciences.
