Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, welcomed Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, on the occasion of his attending the second employment forum for the “Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine” at the university, held under the auspices of the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, entitled: “Youth Dentists and Labor Market Challenges”. The forum is being held with the full support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

In his speech, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, expressed his happiness at being present at the Egyptian Russian University for the first time at this prestigious academic institution, praising the professional organization of the second employment forum for the “Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine”. He thanked all the university leaders for this purposeful work, which comes within the framework of the state’s directions to familiarize young graduates with the challenges of the labor market, especially in the fields of modern technology skills in general and health and medical fields in particular, and promising to continue providing all kinds of support to all students and Egyptian youth to continue excellence and creativity in various student activities.

In the same context, Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Naby, President of the Russian Egyptian University, called on young graduates to take advantage of the available opportunities, whether inside or outside the university, related to entrepreneurship “through the university’s Entrepreneurship Club or the Ministry of Youth and Sports”, which supports young dentists and provides them with services, consultations and guidance. Prof. Sherief explained that the forum is distinguished by the presence of students and graduates and the participation of a diverse number of relevant bodies, institutions and companies in the field of oral and dental medicine, in addition to holding lectures on the labor market.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Tawfiq, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University, confirmed that the second employment forum for the “Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine” at the university succeeded in providing training opportunities for the college’s students, in addition to providing direct employment opportunities for graduates of oral and dental medicine from universities. He also pointed out that the college administration opens its doors to all its graduates to pursue postgraduate studies at the college or contribute to overcoming the difficulties they face in finding appropriate training and job opportunities, whether in the local or international market, as well as developing their skills and providing various fields of employment for them.

In the same context, Dr. Ehab Heikal, the General Syndicate of Dental Practitioners of Egypt, pointed out during his speech at the conference the importance of organizing a series of professional and career development sessions with experts and specialists from various fields of “oral and dental sciences” to develop the skills of young graduates of faculties of oral and dental medicine, especially in the field of: Management, sales skills, marketing, human resources, modern technologies..etc by a group of professional trainers; to assist fresh graduates and those looking for new and prestigious job opportunities; to achieve the goal of the forum, which is to provide suitable job opportunities for each graduate.

It is worth mentioning that the Egyptian Russian University honored a large number of leaders of “Oral and Dental Medicine” in Egypt during the conference and some symbols of higher education during the conference, headed by:

– Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports.

– Dr. Ehab Heikal, General Syndicate of Dental Practitioners of Egypt.

– Major General Dr. Ahmed Amin, Senior Dentist of the Armed Forces.

A large number of symbols of oral and dental medicine from higher education leaders and senior physicians in the field were also honored.

The forum was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, members of the Dental Syndicate, faculty members from Egyptian universities, members of the medical services of the Armed Forces, major dental clinics and centers, digital laboratories for oral and dental medicine, dental implant companies and technological applications in dentistry, entrepreneurship institutions, and radiology and digital imaging centers.

The leaders and managers of the companies participating in the conference were also honored, for example: Hayah Dent Dental Implant Company, Dental Land Center for Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, Shifa Bank, and the director of Al-Razi Medical Services Company.
