As part of the keenness of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University to develop the skills of its students and enhance their role in serving the community, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology organized an awareness campaign in “Taha Hussein Official Distinguished Language School” in Badr City, on methods of combating infection, where students of the fifth year in Pharm D and Pharm D Clinical programs educated the school students on how to prevent infectious diseases, through using demonstrations and interactive activities, such as washing hands properly, and following sound health practices in their daily lives.
This campaign played an important role in giving college students the opportunity to interact directly with the community, spreading health awareness, and in enhancing the concepts of prevention and public safety.
