Within the framework of the university administration’s interest in developing students’ skills and qualifying them for the labor market, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ehab Fattouh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the “EPSF-ERU” Students launched, “Step on the way” conference in its fifteenth edition. The conference was honored by the presence of the President of the Cairo Pharmacists Syndicate, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sheikh, Dr. Essam Aboul Fotouh, the President of the Eastern Pharmacists Syndicate, Prof. Dr. Jamil Abdullah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Omnia Ezzat, Supervisor of the “EPSF-ERU”.
During the conference, panel discussions and lectures were held on mental health and self-support, and a discussion of the responsibility of social partnership by Dr. Mustafa Al-Dali, a psychiatrist and addiction consultant. A lecture was also given on antibiotic resistance by Dr. Salah Fayez, a lecture on industrial pharmacy by Dr. Iman Askar, and therapeutic nutrition by Dr. Salah Darwish. climate and ways of confronting it by Dr. Israa Lashin, career planning by Dr. Basant Abbas, and the sales profession by Dr. Muhammad Abu al-Khair, representative of AstraZeneca.
The Pharma Academy was also hosted, where the importance of the pharmacy profession was reviewed, and the role of the pharmacist in society and fields of work were presented by Dr. Ibrahim Abul-Magd. Dr. Amani Badawi also spoke about the differential diagnosis.
The events concluded with a segment of entertainment with freestyle artist Jimmy in the university’s playgrounds.
