In light of the growing competition, major changes, and rapid technological progress in the labor market, a symposium was held to educate the university students about the labor market and develop their professional compass, under the auspices of Professor Sherif Fahkry, President of the University, and Professor Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and under the supervision of Professor Fatma Shaltout, Head of the Department of Construction Engineering at the Faculty, and organized by the New Vision Student Activity Club..
The symposium was honored by the presence of entrepreneurs in Egypt and the Arab world:

The symposium addressed the requirements of the labor market, the importance of acquiring and developing skills, how to manage short- and long-term goals, balancing risk and stability, what is required for start up companies, and many social and professional tips through the guests’ personal experiences.
At the end of the symposium, the students expressed their happiness showing how they benefited from the symposium, and they thanked all the guests for their valuable advice, which contributed greatly to the success of the meeting.
