In line with the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the field of digital transformation and the future vision of using modern technologies to develop higher education institutions and move towards smart, sustainable universities, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, the Egyptian Russian University participated in the activities of the “Huawei Egypt Higher” Education Summit 2023.
The university delegation at the Huawei Summit included Dr. Tamer Saleh, executive director of the Huawei Academy at the Egyptian Russian University and a doctor in the Communications Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, engineer Mustafa Gamal, the certified trainer at the university’s Huawei Academy in the field of artificial intelligence, and the assistant lecturer at the “Faculty of Artificial Intelligence,” engineer Rehab Hassan, the trainer. Certified at the university’s Huawei Academy in the field of networks and teaching assistant at the university’s Department of Communications Engineering; Mr. Imad Farouk, Director of the Information Technology Department, and Mr. Hani Afifi, from the Information Technology Department.
The celebration witnessed the honoring of Dr. Tamer Saleh, as he is among the best executive directors of academies nationwide, as well as the honoring of Engineer Mustafa Gamal for obtaining the “HCIP” certificate in the “field of artificial intelligence.” And being among the best (10) trainers in the republic in the specialty of “artificial intelligence.” Engineer Rehab Hassan was also honored for obtaining the “HCIA” certificate in the field of networks, and for being one of the best (10) trainers in the republic in the specialty of networks.
