Prof. Dr./ Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced the availability of opportunities for students wishing to study in the four faculties of the university when the Council of Private Universities opens the application for students in the second semester of the academic year (2021-2022), according to the conditions announced by the Council of Private Universities.

The President of the Egyptian Russian University added that there are vacancies in the following faculties: “Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine” and “Faculty of Pharmacy” in the Clinical Pharmacy Program (Pharm D Clinical) and the Pharmacy Program (Pharm D), explaining that the College of Pharmacy is accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation by Resolution No. (194) dated 21/10/2019, which distinguishes its graduates from their peers. There are also vacancies in the College of Engineering in the programs of “Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, Construction Engineering, and Architectural Engineering,” which are accredited by the Federation of Arab Engineers and the “Telecommunications Engineering Program.” Noting that all these programs are to be approved by the National Authority to Ensure Quality of Education and Accreditation. The approval of the Supreme Council of Universities is in progress to establish the following programs: (Energy Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Space and Satellite Communications Engineering, Biomedical Engineering). There are also vacancies in the College of Management, Professional Technology and Computers in the programs {A – Business Administration: (Management – Marketing – Human Resources Management – Finance) B – Accounting, C – Economics, D – Political Science, E – Professional Technology: (Management Information Systems – The science of business analysis) bearing in mind that the minimum application for these programs has been reduced to 55%, and there are vacancies in the advanced computing program (artificial intelligence and data science) and admission to it is the same as the minimum admission for the first semester.

For her part, Mrs. Ikram Mohamed Abdel Hamid, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Russian University, added that the approval of the Council of Private Universities to reduce the minimum for all “theoretical” colleges to (55%) allows a greater number of students to apply to the “College of Management, Professional Technology and Computer” programs except for two programs (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) adding that the application for new students will be made through the website of the secretariat of the Council of Private Universities and in accordance with its conditions, through five stages  and that the student has the right to re-apply in all stages, until he is accepted in one of the colleges according to his desire, and the student does not have the right to apply for more than one college in the same stage.

Mr. Emad Reda, Director of Student and Alumni Affairs at the Egyptian Russian University, explained that for new students, they must apply through the website of the Council of Private Universities, and the application will be starting on Saturday, 5/2/2022, and that students who are nominated for each college must pay the expenses within 48 hours, otherwise the nomination will be canceled. He added that students transferred from other universities, as well as “non-Egyptian students”, must apply directly to the university at its headquarters in Badr City in the Cairo governorate until the available numbers are occupied.
