The Egyptian Russian University Announces the Winners of the E-Learning Competition.. Photos


Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdelnaby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the university administration organized a ceremony to honor the faculty members who won the e-learning competition across all the university’s faculties. This competition was organized by the E-Learning Center at the university and witnessed the participation of 16 contestants from the faculty members and their assistants. He mentioned that the competition was supported by Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees.

In this context, the President of the Egyptian Russian University noted that the E-Learning Center at the university was established more than a year ago with the aim of planning, developing, and implementing all e-learning and distance learning activities, monitoring the implementation of the e-learning plan at the university, establishing e-learning units within the faculties, and assisting faculty members in designing educational content on the e-learning platform and designing exams on various exam platforms. The center also helps solve technical and technological problems faced by students and faculty members and provides regular guidance on using educational platforms and software. He pointed out that the center launched the e-learning competition to select the best faculty member on the e-learning platform. The evaluation was based on educational content, organizational structure, student interaction and participation on the platform throughout the semester, the number of activities conducted by the faculty member, implementation of the e-learning center’s plan within the specified times, and adherence to conducting periodic exams for students.

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdelnaby also praised the fruitful cooperation among the competition’s judging committee members and the impartiality in selecting the winners. He pointed out that the university will continue to provide all necessary support and care in practicing all its activities, whether: research, academic, sports, cultural, artistic, social, or family activities.

From his side, Dr. Tamer Saleh, Director of the E-Learning Center at the Egyptian Russian University, stated that the competition lasted for four consecutive hours; a schedule was settled for the timing of each contestant’s judging, with each contestant entering at their specified time, and the time slots were distributed according to the order of registration. He noted that the judging committee consisted of Dr. Tamer Saleh, Dr. Mohamed Thabet Badary, Dr. Mostafa Abdel Latif, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Bahiri, and Dr. Ghada Nabil, with the assistance and coordination of Christina Fouad Naseem and Tasneem Nasr El-Din.

The Director of the E-Learning Center at the Egyptian Russian University added that the following were honored:

2. Dr. Maha Naser Morsi Abu Shanab (Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine)
3. Dr. Khaled Farouk Abbas (Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine)
4. Dr. Shaimaa Nasr El-Din (Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine)
5. Dr. Hind Mohamed El-Gamil (Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology)
6. Dr. Nehad Hosni Youssef (Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology)
7. Dr. Heidi Yahya Ghoneim (Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology)
8. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid El-Said (Faculty of Artificial Intelligence)
9. Dr. Wael Majed El-Sayed Badawi (Faculty of Artificial Intelligence)
10. Dr. Omnia Fathy Youssef (Faculty of Engineering)
11. Dr. Mohamed Gamal Ahmed (Faculty of Engineering)

The winners at the faculties level were also honored:
1. Dr. Osama Wagdy Wadea, the premier in the Faculty of Management, Economics, and Business Technology.
2. Dr. Dalia Ahmed Saba, the premier in the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine.
3. Dr. Ahmed Raafat Abbas, the premier in the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence.
4. Dr. Fady Wadea Gerges, the premier in the Faculty of Engineering.
5. Dr. Iman Darwish Sayed Darwish, the premier in the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the premier at the Egyptian Russian University.
