Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Fatma Shaltout, Head of the Construction Engineering Department, and in reference to the engineering effort exerted in establishing national projects, a group of students of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University made a scientific visit to the water treatment plant in Bahr Al-Baqar area, which is the largest plant in the world as The plant has an operating capacity of 5.5 million cubic meters per day. The visit was prepared and supervised by Dr. Said Ahmed Mahrous Khaled, from Department of Construction Engineering at the university.
