The university administration congratulates the Egyptian Russian University Handball Team for winning the first match of the universities championship (Martyr Ibrahim Al-Rifai Championship for the 49th session), which is held on the stadiums of South Valley University in Qena from 20-22 February 2022 within the tournaments organized by the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, with the participation of many governmental and private universities. The Egyptian Russian University came within the third group, which also includes the teams of South Valley University, Sohag University, and Suez University.
Among the activities of the first day, the strong confrontation between the Egyptian Russian University team and the Suez University team, ended with the victory of the Egyptian Russian University team 14/25.
