Within the framework of student exchange agreements concluded between the Egyptian Russian University and some Russian universities, and under the auspices of Professor Dr. Sherif Fahkry, President of the University, a student delegation from the Peoples’ Friendship University in Moscow was received, as part of the student training program on Arabic language and learning about historical places in Cairo and its surroundings, Egyptian history, culture and traditions, which the university provides for students of Russian universities with the aim of strengthening joint cultural and scientific relations.
A busy program was prepared over a month, which included many lectures for Arabic language training, aiming at achieving rapprochement, integration and interaction with Egyptian society and enriching their experience, in addition to visits to the most important Egyptian cultural, tourist and recreational areas and landmarks, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Saber, a Russian language lecturer at the university.
At the end of the training program, the President of the University received the students in a friendly meeting, where his Excellency handed them certificates of appreciation for concluding their training at the university. The students praised the warm welcome, their integration and interaction with the Egyptian Russian University community and the Egyptian society. They also expressed their wishes to come back to Egypt.
