The Russian Izhevsk State Technical University Delegation Visiting the Egyptian Russian University... with photos

President of the Egyptian Russian University, Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Naby, announced that the university campus received a delegation from “Izhevsk State Technical University” in the Russian Federation. The delegation was headed by Dr. Alexander Gubert, Acting University President, and Dr. Alexey Ryabshikov, Director of the International Study Programs Institute at the University. He pointed out that all held under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

The President of the Egyptian Russian University added that the visit of the Russian delegation comes within the framework of exchanging experiences and p and of exploring the possibility of increasing joint cooperation between the Egyptian Russian University and Izhevsk State Technical University by adding new programs in the fields of fine arts, applied arts, management, economics, business technology, artificial intelligence, and technical languages for the currently activated joint programs with the Faculty of Engineering at the University. He also clarified that they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of scientific research between the two universities.

In the same context, Dr. Alexander Gubert, Acting President of Izhevsk State Technical University, explained his university’s desire to expand the scope of joint cooperation between the Egyptian Russian University and Izhevsk State Technical University in the Russian Federation by adding dual degree programs in the faculties of artificial intelligence, management, economics, business technology, fine arts, applied arts, and languages, in addition to the existing engineering programs, that are already activated, allowing obtaining a “dual degree”. He also mentioned the general cooperation agreement between the two universities.

Dr. Essam Khamees, Vice President of the Egyptian Russian University, confirmed that the efficiency of activating the cooperation agreement for granting a “dual degree” in the fields of construction engineering, mechatronics and robotics, and communications was discussed, in addition to the general cooperation between the two universities. He mentioned that the development of cooperation in the field of scientific research and joint conferences was also discussed.

Dr. Alexey Ryabshikov, Director of the Institute of International Study Programs at Izhevsk State Technical University, praised the existing cooperation between the two universities for over ten years, and the achievements of ERU students, as well as the level of infrastructure, technology, talented academic and administrative staff. He expressed his desire for further cooperation between all the faculties of the two universities in various scientific fields.

It is worth mentioning that after receiving the delegation from Izhevsk State Technical University, the President of the University, the Vice President, and the deans of the faculties accompanied the visiting delegation on a tour inside the university campus to see the service buildings, green areas, sports facilities, and some faculties, including the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Applied Arts. The deans and faculty members welcomed them and informed them about the faculties’ capabilities. A tourism program was prepared throughout the delegation’s stay in Egypt, including visits to various important tourist facilities.

The Russian delegation took some souvenir photos near the “Egyptian-Russian Friendship Tree” on campus, which was planted by the Association of Graduates from Russian and Soviet universities as part of the humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
