The success of the Employment Forum at the Egyptian Russian University in the presence of major companies

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the recruitment forum for graduates of the “Construction and Architectural Engineering” programs at the Faculty of Engineering at the university succeeded to achieve its goal, in the presence of a group of major urban development and contracting companies. He added that the activities of the employment forum were held with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and in the presence of Major General Engineer Amr Abdel-Wahhab, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Egyptian Rural Development Company.

In the same context, Dr. Alaa Mohamed Ahmed Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University, emphasized the importance of the forum and the need to hold it annually to be a link between the college’s graduates and the labor market and provide them with employment and appropriate training opportunities. He pointed out that the forum targets final-year students and recent graduates; To help them provide training and work opportunities and know the requirements of the current and future labor market from experts, as well as identify the different skills which are required to obtain a good job opportunity.

For their part, Dr. Fatima Shaltout, Head of the Construction Engineering Program, and Dr. Faten Labib, Head of the Architectural Engineering Program at the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University, welcomed the guests from the participating companies in the forum.. stressing their keenness to hold the annual employment forum for the two departments , to invite major companies in construction field, to increase cooperation between the college and these companies to achieve the maximum possible benefit for students and graduates in the areas of training and employment; The graduates of the program become unique and able to compete in the labor market: “local, regional, and international.”
Within the same context, Major General Engineer Amr Abdel Wahab, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Egyptian Rural Development Company, expressed his happiness to attend the forum and shed light on one of the most important national projects that come within the projects of the New Republic and “Egypt’s Vision 2030”, which is the one and a half million feddan project. Such a project will provide Egypt with self-sufficiency in strategic crops. He directs important advice to students to work continuously to develop their skills , advance the country and achieve the “state vision led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi” Egypt 2030.
At the end of the forum, Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, honored the guests, and an open discussion took place between the guests and the attendees. Students of the two programs and faculty members asked some questions to the guests; To benefit from their unique experiences.. The organization of the forum was under the supervision of: “Dr. Finis Fayed and Dr. Hani Al-Juraidi” from the Construction Engineering Program and Dr. Ahmed Zaki from the Architectural Engineering Program.
It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by: Dr. Immaculate Hamia, Dean of the College of Management, Economics and Business Technology, Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Eng. Mohamed Taher, Director of Business Development at Hassan Allam Holding Company, Eng. Sherif Hamdy, Director of the Technological Institute for Training at the Arab Contractors Company. Engineer Amr Mohamed Rehan, Director of Human Resources at Al-Hazek Construction Company, in addition to a large number of public figures, industrialists, and faculty members from the two departments.
