The Egyptian Russian University Announces the Names of Students Who Won the Fine Arts amateurs Competition

Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the winning students in the exhibition and competition “Pioneers of the Fine Arts Enthusiasts Association” in its 63rd session titled “Human, Image, and Memory of Time” have been honored. He noted that the students’ participation was supported by Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, and under the patronage of Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdelnaby, President of the University. This comes as part of the university’s interest in student activities for their role in refining and developing students’ talents, enhancing awareness, and fostering the ability to cooperate with others, contributing to interaction with the surrounding community.

The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University indicated that the students who won in the “Pioneers of the Fine Arts Enthusiasts Association” exhibition and competition are: “Student Nada Mamdouh Abdelkarim, a second-level student in the Environmental Design Department, who won the ‘Artist Hassan Heshmat Award in Ceramics’, and student Shams Mohamed Kamal, a first-level student, who won the ‘Artist Saeed Hamed El-Sadr Award in Ceramics'”. He wished them a bright future and an active participation in the development of the community and the service of our beloved country, Egypt.

Dr. Mohamed Orabi urged students and faculty members to strive for more excellence and wished them success in all fields of student activities and international competitions. He revealed that the university administration provides all the necessary support to create a suitable environment for students, helping them achieve “success, excellence, and distinction” in various student activities and competitions.

The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University pointed out that the “Fine Arts Enthusiasts Association” is the oldest fine arts association in the Arab world and Africa, and has always been a gateway for young creators to the world of art and creativity. He stated that the achievement of two students winning awards in the fields of “plastic arts or ceramic sculpture” from the first batch of the faculty is a pride for the faculty and the university and a testament to the efforts of the college’s students, faculty, and administration. He expressed his gratitude to artist Mahmoud Roshdy, the assistant lecturer in the Visual Arts Department within the faculty.
