The Egyptian Russian University reveals the details of the visit to the Arab Organization for Industrialization

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that a visit was organized for a high-level delegation of university leaders and faculty staff members from the faculties of Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence to the Electronics Factory Zerotech Compamy, affiliated to the “Arab Organization for Industrialization”. This factory is considered one of the pillars of the military and civil industry in Egypt and the Middle East. The president of the university explained that this visit came in a joint cooperation protocol between the university and the organization, with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

Moreover, Dr. Essam Khamis, Vice President of the Egyptian Russian University and head of the delegation, indicated that the visit to the “Arab Organization for Industrialization” came within the framework of seeking to achieve integration between the university and the national industrial institutions, and it aimed to identify aspects of technical, research and training cooperation between the organization and the university and to visit the production lines of the “Electronics Factory and Zerotech Company” on the ground, which operate according to the latest systems of digital transformation and modern artificial intelligence. He mentioned that the university will implement the project of artificial intelligence cameras with the “Arab Organization for Industrialization” in several stages. In addition, this visit came within the educational strategic plan to develop the practical and scientific skills of faculty staff members and students.

Dr. Hisham Fathy, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Egyptian Russian University, confirmed that the purpose of visiting these giant factories, which have a great history in the electronics industry and modern technologies, is to open training fields for students in all fields of their academic specializations to enrich their practical skills and to prepare them well after graduation and to break into the market, whether local, regional, or international. He pointed out that such visits contribute greatly to the excellence of the educational process within the faculty and the qualifications of students for the labor market through direct contact with the various disciplines of the fields of advanced technologies.

Furthermore, Dr. Saeed Hassan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Egyptian Russian University, stated that the visiting delegation of faculty staff members inspected all departments of the “Zerotech” factories to know more about the production lines and the various stages of operation. He pointed out that the capabilities of the Electronics Factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, will be displayed with the possibility of acheiving technical cooperation and field visits to students to train them in the organization, and contribution to supervising graduation projects.

It is worth noting that among the members of the Egyptian-Russian University delegation that visited the Ectronics Factory were: Dr. Ibrahim Mosaad, Head of the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics, Dr. Shaima Mostafa, Head of the Communications Department, Dr. Tamer Saleh, Lecturer in the Communications Department, Dr. Marwa Hamed, Lecturer at the Communications Department, Dr. Fadi Wadih, Lecturer at the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, Eng. Youssef Fawzy, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, Eng. Ali Issa, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, and Dr. Emad Farouk, Head of the Technology and Information Department at the University.
