The Egyptian Russian University Earns a Silver Medal in the University Youth Week

ERU President, Dr. Sherif Fakhry Abdel Nabi announced that “Ahmed Mohamed Abu Elmagd” student at the Faculty of Engineering and a member of the university’s athletics team, achieved the second place and the silver medal in the long jump competition, at the level of Egyptian universities in the Sports Championship of the Thirteenth University Youth Week held this year at the headquarters of Helwan University, under the slogan “The New Republic, a Homeland Dream”, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He pointed out that the participation in the University Youth Week was supported by Dr. Mohamed Kamal Mustafa, Chairman of the University Council, for his keenness to support all forms of student activities inside and outside the university campus. Dr. Hanaa Abdel Rahman, Head of Student Activities at the Egyptian Russian University, added that the university administration is keen to support all forms of student activities inside and outside the campus, contributing to fair competition with others, creating a well-rounded personality for the student, developing his skills, motivating his creative abilities, instilling principles and human values in him, and instilling a desire to continue succeeding in various fields. She pointed out that the student “Ahmed Mohamed Abu Elmagd” passed the first qualifiers with merit and won the second place and the silver medal in the long jump field of “Athletics”, among students from 30 government, private, and higher education institutions participating in the University Youth Week after surpassing his competitors in this competition. In the same context, Captain Mohamed Abdullah, Director of the Central Administration for Youth Welfare at the Egyptian Russian University, affirmed that the Youth Welfare Administration congratulates the university community in general and the family of the student “Ahmed Mohamed Abu Elmagd” from the Faculty of Engineering at the university and a player in Al-Ahly Club, in particular, for this great achievement. He expressed his joy at the student’s achievement of the second place and the silver medal, which is an advanced position in the most important sports championship where all Egyptian universities compete, which is the “University Youth Week,” and his ability to place the flag of the “Egyptian Russian University” on the podium.
