After the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research The Egyptian Russian University announces the start of Cybersecurity and Software Engineering programs

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that a ministerial decision was issued to begin studies in two new study programs at the “Faculty of Artificial Intelligence” at the university, which are: “Cybersecurity and Software Engineering.”  Pointing out that the activation of these programs was supported by Dr. Muhammad Kamal Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

 

 The President of the Egyptian Russian University stated that these new programs were developed in response to the rapid developments taking place in the region and the world in the fields of modern technologies and business technology in general, and that they will be taught to students starting from the next academic year (2024-2025), under the supervision of a group of the most qualified faculty members.  Teaching, in addition to the programs currently offered by the college, which are: “Artificial Intelligence, Data Science.”

 

 From his side, Dr. Hisham Fathi, Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Egyptian Russian University, indicated that the college administration seeks to add other specializations in order to keep pace with global development in the field of the college… adding that the “Cyber ​​Security Programme,” in which the student studies the foundations of protecting computers and networks.  Important software applications, systems, and data from potential digital threats, and there is a great demand from the labor market for graduates of this program.

 

 The Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Egyptian Russian University explained that the “Software Engineering Program,” or what is called in English “Software Engineering,” is the specialty responsible for designing and developing systems and software, as engineering passes through several stages that include the following: “Creating the program with an initial idea.”  “Analysis of problems and requirements, design, running programs on devices, maintenance, and modification.” Noting that graduates of this program are in great demand in the labor market, whether “local, regional, or international.”
