Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the “Harvest 3 Exhibition” has been opened to produce artistic works for male and female students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in the second semester 2023-2024, in the fields of: “drawing and coloring, quick drawings, photography art, The artistic edition and its applied aspects in practical life, advertising design, graphic design, video arts, ceramic art, three-dimensional architectural composition, book art, character design, animated films and digital game design, puppet theater and cinema scenography, the art of sculpture, installation in space… and other works of art”, which combines multiple artistic media within the framework of contemporary art theories in their conceptual and technical dimensions. Pointing out that the exhibition comes with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal Al-Sayed Mustafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
In the same context, Dr. Walid Qanoush, Professor of Photography and Head of the Fine Arts Sector at the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, confirmed that the works of the Fine Arts Students Exhibition at the Egyptian Russian University reflect distinct conceptual and technical expertise and creative abilities that came within the framework of an educational methodology that keeps pace with the requirements of the time, and was formulated in a distinguished presentation. He works to spread aesthetic awareness in the community surrounding the university, and the works showed distinguished artistic talents with innovative ideas that open new windows for a bright future for the students. He praised the students’ works on display, which herald the birth of a new generation of artists and designers that will occupy a distinguished place in the path of comprehensive development that the nation seeks at the coming stage.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University, explained that the student exhibition came out of the college administration’s keenness to motivate talented students, develop their abilities, and hone their skills. Through their interaction with the recipient audience with its multiple knowledge segments which establishes appropriate awareness among the college graduate of entrepreneurship in the fields of arts and design as it is the backbone of modern development… Pointing out that the college offers educational programs that keep pace with the age and the needs of society as follows: “Programs of the Media Arts Department Digital such as: animation and movement design, digital game design, programs of the Environmental Design Department such as: scenography, interior architecture, architecture and landscape design, and programs of the Visual Arts Department such as: photography and multimedia, sculpture and installation in space, artistic printing, and photography, as well as the program Designing dolls and three-dimensional games, and programs of the Department of Visual Communication Arts such as: illustrations, graphic design, and advertising design.”

Dr. Mohamed Orabi indicated that this exhibition is the result of a new teaching experience according to an interactive methodology that aims to develop ways of thinking: “critical, creative, scientific, and research,” and works to establish a deeper understanding of the concepts and cultural contexts of the “fine arts and design” movement and its paths “internally and abroad.” The exhibition included more than (300) diverse works of art, including: “oil painting, photography, design of several posters on different topics, design and printing on fabrics, ceramic works, and installation works in space that were displayed in gardens and green spaces, and films inside the university campus, and the exhibition included works in the field of new media and video art. documentary films, scenography, theater and cinema, including puppet theater shows and short feature films.
