The activities of the first edition of the Technological Universities Youth Week were held in the Youth City of Abu-Qeer in Alexandria. The event was attended by Professor / Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. / Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. / Mohamed Gubran, Minister of Labor, Lieutenant General / Ahmed Khaled, Governor of Alexandria, as well as the presidents of technological universities, industry partners, media professionals and reporters. Ten technological universities participated, with 600 students participating in 27 various competitions in scientific, cultural, artistic and sport activities.

     Under the guidance and support of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry Abd-el-Naby, President of the Egyptian Russian University, the university took part in arbitrating the scientific competition through a committee of Egyptian professors headed by Professor / Dr. Said Hassan Ibrahim Said, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at the Egyptian Russian University. The competition included the arbitration of 40 technological and innovative projects in the fields of technology, scientific innovations and entrepreneurship, in addition to the robot competition (Mazes) and the best scientific exhibition.

     For his part, Dr. Said Hassan Ibrahim pointed out the success of the first edition of the Technological Universities Youth Week. He stated that this event represents a wonderful opportunity for the students of technological universities to exchange ideas, enhance the spirit of innovation among them and present their innovative projects which could be the nucleus of emerging companies, which can contribute to supporting the role of technological universities in achieving the vision of Egypt 2030 in the field of scientific technological innovations and entrepreneurship.
