Under the patronage of Professor Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and as part of encouraging students to actively participate in volunteer activities, the “RED WEEK” campaign was launched at the Egyptian Russian University, executed by the Egyptian Red Crescent in cooperation with the Social Solidarity Unit over two days at the university.

The campaign aimed to boost the energy of university students through raising their awareness of the importance of volunteer work and their vital role in serving the community. It also sought to encourage students to engage in humanitarian activities that support the most vulnerable groups. The campaign’s events addressed promoting public health among students, helping them take positive steps toward a more balanced lifestyle, and raising awareness of first aid.

During the campaign, students praised the role of the Red Crescent in raising health and preventive awareness, providing medical services, especially during crises, and many students applied to volunteer with the Red Crescent Society.
