In an outstanding sporting achievement, student Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Abu El-Magd, enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering, won first place and the gold medal in the decathlon competition at the Republic Shield Championship (First Division) in athletics, organized by the Egyptian Athletics Federation at the Ismaili Club grounds in Ismailia Governorate from 10th to 12th of April, 2025.
The championship witnessed fierce competition between participants from various clubs and sports organizations across the country. The champion excelled in all the decathlon events, which included ten diverse competitions combining speed, strength, endurance, and technical skills, deservingly winning the title.
