The event was attended by representatives from higher education, industry leaders, and prominent public figures. He noted that the exhibition comes as part of the university’s efforts to achieve a distinguished educational system for students, aligned with the labour market, and to strengthen academic partnerships with industrial and community institutions; all with the support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees.
For his part, Dr. Essam Khamees, Advisor to the President of the Egyptian-Russian University for Academic Development, explained that the second annual exhibition of the Faculty of Applied Arts is part of the university’s strategy for community engagement and achieving the state’s vision for academic and economic progress, linking both of them through the university’s vital role in discovering and developing the creative and innovative abilities of students, particularly in the field of applied arts. He pointed out that this exhibition embodies one of the requirements for transforming the university into a “fourth-generation” productive institution, thus enhancing its role in leading comprehensive development and social advancement. It also contributes to producing graduates who are competitive regionally and internationally, and qualified to support and enhance national industries and raise its efficiency.
On the same topic, Dr. Ezzedin Abdelaziz, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University, affirmed that the university’s second annual exhibition was held under the theme: “Applied Arts; Art, Architecture, and Industry.” The exhibition ran for three consecutive days during the current month of September 2025. The exhibition aimed to create a unique academic environment capable of positively impacting students and preparing them to contribute to industrial development. He explained that the exhibition included display areas for products from various companies related to applied arts disciplines, such as glasswork, interior design and furniture, printing and packaging, and fashion and clothing.
The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Egyptian-Russian University indicated that the purpose of holding the exhibition annually is to connect students with the tools and requirements of modern industry, which relies on advanced technology.
