The Egyptian Russian University celebrated the graduation of the seventh class (No. 203) of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, who have been awarded the Bachelor’s degree, during a grand ceremony held at the Great Hall of the Military Production Theater. The event was filled with pride, joy, and a sense of accomplishment, as the graduates, equipped with knowledge and learning, prepared to join the fields of work and continue fulfilling their duties toward their beloved homeland — contributing to its progress, development, and prosperity.
The ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of leaders in higher education and scientific research, the Head of the Cairo Dental Syndicate, prominent business figures, and public personalities, under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.
For his part, Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel-Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, expressed his happiness with the graduation of the seventh class from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine. He affirmed that the university would always remain an open home for its graduates, offering them opportunities to benefit from postgraduate programs, research laboratories, and specialized libraries, in addition to training programs that help them develop their skills and efficiently engage in the labor market while keeping pace with modern scientific developments. He expressed his hope that they would continue their dedicated service to patients and stressed the importance of utilizing the advanced potential available in various dental specialties, to contribute effectively to Egypt’s comprehensive development in all fields.
In the same context, Dr. Essam Khamis, Academic Development Advisor to the University President, extended his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the distinguished professors who devoted themselves wholeheartedly to teaching — instilling in their students values and ethics before knowledge and serving as role models of dedication, discipline, and responsibility. He stated:
> “You, today, are the fruit of their sincerity and the continuation of their noble mission that builds minds and creates hope.”
He also thanked every parent who supported their children at every step — “they were patient, sacrificed, stood by, and encouraged them” — until this joyful moment, truly becoming the genuine partners of success.
Addressing the graduates, Dr. Khamis said:
> “The Egyptian Russian University is a university of knowledge, discipline, and innovation. Be its best ambassadors wherever you work and serve. Carry its values with you — excellence, responsibility, and respect for humanity — and let them guide your professional path. Remember, your country, Egypt, expects a lot from you; it is building its future with the hands of its conscious youth, opening vast horizons for learning, research, and creativity. Be part of this honorable national journey and contribute through your knowledge and ethics to establishing a healthcare system worthy of our great nation.”
He concluded his speech by saying that this celebration represents the culmination of the efforts of students, faculty members, and the college administration in preparing a new generation of dentists capable of competing locally and internationally — a generation that combines solid knowledge, skill, commitment, and patriotism.
Likewise, Dr. Khaled Tawfik, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University, expressed his pride in the new graduates, praising their commitment and hard work throughout their years of study. He affirmed that the college takes pride in producing a generation of dentists who are scientifically and professionally qualified to serve their nation and compete in both the local and global markets.
Dr. Tawfik explained that during the celebration, Dr. Walid Hassan, Head of the Cairo Dental Syndicate, led the graduates in reciting the professional oath, marking the start of their new professional journey. He added that many assistant faculty members who had obtained Master’s and Doctoral degrees, as well as top students, were honored during the event. Certificates were then distributed to all graduates of the seventh class.
The Dean urged the graduates to remain sincere, diligent, and continuously engaged in learning and research to keep pace with advancements in their profession and to maintain contact with their alma mater. He emphasized that the degree they earned is one of the most important documents they will ever receive in life, as it opens the doors to success both inside and outside Egypt. He encouraged them to keep up with the rapid technological progress in dentistry and wished them continuous success in their careers.
Dr. Tawfik also congratulated the new graduates and called on them to play their role in building society and to continue exerting effort and dedication so that Egypt’s flag remains high thanks to its distinguished and hardworking citizens. He urged them to always combine knowledge with integrity and ethics, which he described as the foundation of success and the advancement of nations.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Dr. Hanaa Abdel-Rahman, Advisor to the University President for Student Activities; Dr. Ahmed Samir, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Dr. Nourhan El-Deqqi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; a number of businessmen, college deans, faculty members, public figures, and the graduates’ families.
