As part of its efforts to empower students by introducing them to available career opportunities in various scientific and engineering fields, programming, arts, business administration, and other disciplines, and to bridge the gap between academic life and the job market, the “UR Career Compass” event, organized by the “New Vision” Student Activity Club at the Egyptian Russian University, concluded its activities for the second consecutive year.

The event aimed to broaden students’ horizons, taking them beyond the confines of academia to a wider environment that allows them to gain a deeper understanding of job market needs, thus helping them make more informed decisions about their professional futures.

The event included presentations, workshops, and open discussions to enhance the students’ knowledge about career paths, assist in choosing the right job, and self-development. Distinguished guests, including industry leaders and specialists, delivered valuable insights and insightful lectures.

The students expressed that they greatly benefited from the specialized sessions that covered vital and advanced fields, most notably artificial intelligence (AI), in addition to many other disciplines that serve the requirements of the future labor market, stressing their welcome of everything that supports their career path and qualifies them to excel in their chosen fields, and looking forward to more similar events that enrich knowledge and open new horizons.
