Under the patronage of Prof. Ihab Fattouh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and under the supervision of Prof. Alaa Zaki, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics, the Department of Pharmaceutics at the Russian University in Egypt organized a scientific visit to the International Center for Bioavailability, Pharmaceutical, and Clinical Research (ICBR) on Monday, November 3, 2025. The visit was attended by fourth- and fifth-year Pharm-D students and organized by the University Student Union.

The students were guided throughout the visit by Dr. Mohamed Ali, Lecturer in the Department, and Pharmacist Hossam Attia, Teaching Assistant, who provided academic support and supervision.

The visit began with an introductory lecture on the center’s activities and the latest technologies in pharmaceutical and bioavailability research, followed by a demonstration and explanation of the procedures for drug analysis, solubility testing, and quality verification according to scientific standards, in addition to familiarization with modern laboratories and advanced research equipment.

The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in an advanced research environment and learn about international scientific standards, enhancing their scientific and practical skills in the field of pharmaceutics. This visit is part of the department’s efforts to offer hands-on educational experiences that bridge academic study with practical application.
