Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and as part of its efforts to encourage students to actively participate in volunteer activities, the Egyptian Russian University launched the “RED WEEK” campaign, implemented by the Egyptian Red Crescent over three days on campus.

The campaign aimed to harness the energy of university students by raising their awareness of the importance of volunteer work and their vital role in serving the community, and encouraging students to engage in humanitarian activities that contribute to supporting the most vulnerable groups. The campaign’s activities also focused on promoting public health among students, helping them take positive steps towards a more balanced lifestyle, and raising awareness of first aid.

During the campaign, students praised the Red Crescent’s role in raising health and preventative awareness, providing medical services, especially during times of crisis, and many students volunteered with the Egyptian Red Crescent Society
