Egyptian-Russian University's Faculty of Fine Arts Hosts Icons of Tunisian Creativity in a Prestigious International Event

In an artistic manifestation that blends authenticity with modernity, and as part of the university’s strategy to strengthen ties with the international art community, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Egyptian Russian University (ERU) organized a distinguished two-day international cultural event.

The festivities, which aimed to broaden students’ global horizons and provide them with contemporary artistic skills, were held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of the Faculty.

The event hosted a group of prestigious artistic figures from the brotherly nation of Tunisia. Two key seminars highlighted the latest trends in visual arts:
* Seminar I: Presented by Prof. Dr. Sara Bin Attia, titled “Conceptual Ceramics and the Philosophical Dimension in Artistic Practice,” exploring the intersection between philosophy and clay formation.
* Seminar II: An interactive session by artist Soha Marzouki, titled “The Image as a Conceptual Solution: The Role of Photography in Building Interactive Ceramic Spaces.”

The event moved beyond theory to practical creative energy through specialized workshops in:
* Ceramic Art
* Tile Painting
These workshops were characterized by a spirit of “creative interaction” between the guests and the students of the Visual Arts Department, with active participation from faculty members. This provided a fertile environment for exchanging modern artistic techniques and expertise.
