As part of its community role, the Egyptian-Russian University celebrates the conclusion of its "Children's University" program and honors 250 talented young students.

Affirming its community mission and ambitious vision of investing in emerging minds, and in line with its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030, the Egyptian-Russian University celebrated the conclusion of its “Children’s University” program across its various phases: the fifth and sixth (F2), seventh (F1), eighth (E2), and ninth and tenth (E1). This event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and in fruitful cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
This program reflects the University’s commitment to engaging with the surrounding community. The celebration culminated in the successful participation and recognition of 250 gifted and talented children who were hosted by the University for a month and a half, providing them with a comprehensive academic and scientific environment to discover and develop their skills.
The ceremony vividly illustrated the collaboration and integration between the university and civil society and executive institutions. The event was attended by:
* Eng. Iman Mohamed Abdel-Moaty – Administrative Director of the Children’s University Program at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
* Dr. Heidi El-Qazzaz – Director of the Badr Medical District.
* Mr. Tarek Bilal – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Educational Administration in Badr and Shorouk Cities.
* The Secretary-General of the University, advisors to the University President, deans and vice-deans of faculties, a number of faculty members, and a large gathering of parents who shared in their children’s moments of distinction.
On the sidelines of the event, Professor Sherif Fakhry inaugurated an exhibition of children’s graduation projects in various disciplines. These projects were the result of supervision and guidance from a select group of faculty members and teaching assistants at the university, with the follow-up of Dr. Heba Abousteit, the program coordinator at the university.
The children’s innovations received widespread praise from the attendees, who commended the outstanding scientific presentations, eloquence, and self-confidence displayed by the students during their presentations. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the university president presented graduation certificates to the participating students and posed for commemorative photos to encourage them.
Through these initiatives, the Egyptian-Russian University affirms that its role extends beyond university education to serving as a developmental platform for the local community, nurturing talent from a young age to cultivate a generation capable of innovation and meeting the demands of the future.
