Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, president of the Egyptian Russian University in Badr City, announced that the comprehensive clinics complex of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the university opens a gateway for all residents of Badr town and neighboring towns to receive examination, treatment and x-rays for free with the beginning of the new academic year (2020-2021), adding that the clinics of the College of Oral and Dental Medicine receive more than 50 thousand patients per year and provide all kinds of medical services without financial compensation for them, whether for adults or children, as a kind of community participation that the university does towards civil community.

In the same context, Dr. Khaled Tawfiq, Dean of the Faculty of oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University, said that the college includes 320 oral and dental units dedicated to training students and a comprehensive clinic complex for internship graduates. He explained that the comprehensive oral and dental clinics in the college provide all services, examinations and treatment free of charge to the public. It includes all specialties from oral, jaw and dental surgeries, extraction, dental filling, complete dentures, caries control and treatment. The faculty clinics receive patients from eight in the morning until three in the evening on official working days, except for Friday and Saturday and official holidays for the state. The Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at the Egyptian Russian University revealed that with regard to sterilization, the faculty, whether in practical teaching or examining the public, uses highly advanced sterilization units to preserve the lives of patients with the implementation of infection control instructions very strictly within clinics with the full support of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Russian University. He pointed out that the College of Oral and Dental Medicine has treated nearly 180,000 patients during the previous three years since its opening within the free treatment service that it provides to citizens on a daily basis during working days and throughout the summer vacation, so that the service will continue through internship graduates under the supervision of faculty teaching staff members.
