Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and within the framework of the university’s effective role in serving the community, and embodying the values of goodness and humanitarian responsibility, the Egyptian Russian University launched a blood donation campaign over three days inside the university campus, under the slogan “I am an Egyptian donor.. I am a permanent donor”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Population represented by the “Regional Blood Transfusion Center ” in Ismailia. The Egyptian Pharmaceutics Student Federation at the University EPSF-ERU organized and supervised the campaign throughout the campaign days. The university is keen to support these campaigns and host them every semester; to enhance the values of giving and solidarity, and with the aim of spreading the culture of blood donation among students and university staff, and forming a broad base of donors; to provide safe and sufficient blood to save the patients who need blood transfusion in hospitals. A large number of students and university staff participated in donating blood.
